INDEPENDENCE DAY TRANSIT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority will not operate regular fixed-route bus service, A-Ride Paratransit, or senior taxi Services
on Monday, July 4, 2011 in observance of the Independence Day
holiday. Regular bus, paratransit and senior taxi services will
resume on Tuesday, July 5.
Passengers may take advantage of AATA's Holiday
Ride shared-ride taxi service on July 4 for $5 a person. Seniors and persons with disabilities with an AATA identification card may ride for $2.50. Individuals with go!passes may ride for $3, with the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority paying the remainder of the fare.
The Holiday Ride taxi service operates within the city limits of Ann Arbor and east to Golfside Road between Clark and Ellsworth roads. To schedule a Holiday Ride trip, call 734.528.5432.
The AATA main office and transit centers will not be open on the following days:
- Main Office, 2700 South Industrial Highway
Closed: Monday, July 4
- Blake Transit Center, 331 S. Fourth Ave.
Closed: Monday, July 4
- Ypsilanti Transit Center
Closed: Monday, July 4
The main office, Blake Transit Center and Ypsilanti Transit Center will reopen for business on Tuesday, July 5.
